This is the first evening of Hanukkah. In the window there is a big menorah. Grandpa lights the shamash and the first candle. Everyone sings: "Maoz Tsur Yeshuati". On the table there are warm latkes with jam. The children play with a colorful dreidel. Grandma gives me chocolate coins. This is a family and festive evening.
